Who Am I

In a world where dreams often find their origins in the most unexpected of places, the story of Universal Publishing unfolds with a touch of divine grace. It’s a tale that starts with a calling, an entrusted mission from the heavens above.

One fine day, as if touched by the hand of God, the opportunity to work on a publication centered around God and the temples of South India appeared before me. It was a moment of revelation, a realization that Universal Publishing was meant to carry out the divine works of so many temples and their rich cultural histories. Though I knew there were giants in the field of publishing, my unwavering interest and drive for divine service propelled me to follow this path.

But as I ventured forward, I encountered a formidable challenge: the daunting task of meeting the necessary financial commitments. I reached out to numerous industrialists, millionaires, and billionaires, seeking their support for this sacred endeavor. Yet, all doors remained resolutely shut. Every avenue I explored seemed to dry up, and the big industrial houses remained indifferent to my plea. Even my repeated visits and heartfelt explanations to the heads of revered mutts yielded no favorable results.

But my spirit remained undaunted. I forged ahead, using my personal savings to bring forth the magnificence of the Lord and the countless temples. To me, this service was a privilege, a duty to humanity. It was as if the words of Saint Manickavasagar from the 9th century echoed in my heart,

“அவன் அருளாலே அவன் தாள் வணங்கி”

              “Only with His grace can we sing His glory.”

The path I was treading remained unknown, without a clear vision of its direction. However, I was guided by divine hands, led by the Lord Himself. The price I set for these publications was meager in comparison to those of contemporary publishers. I can assure you that all my publications were the result of my tireless efforts, drenched in sweat and hard work, marked by priceless perseverance. Yet, I never charged a penny for this labor of love. My efforts were driven by the Lord’s guidance, ensuring that I would have no rebirth. In this lifetime, I was determined to fulfill the work of God Himself.
